2025 Impact Highlights

  • Opened up the Virgil Abloh Foundation HQ in Chicago, IL, to host free programming days and workshops for the local community.
  • Provided 15+ grants and resources to creative and cultural leaders and mission-aligned organizations across the U.S. and Europe.
  • Celebrated 60 new Virgil Abloh™ “Post-Modern” Scholars with the Fashion Scholarship Fund.
  • Launched two near-peer mentorship program pilots with UW–Madison and the Fashion Scholarship Fund.
  • Supported and inspired over 20,000 young creatives through direct programming and access initiatives in the US and Europe.
  • Provided Creator Fund scholarship awards to 10 Chicago-based creative teens.
  • Grew the ABLOH AIR program and and welcomed Flight 001, its second cohort of 12 students.
  • Launched the 2025-2026 Virgil Abloh Foundation Scholarship at the Royal College of Arts in London.
  • Engaged over 115 creative industry leaders in VAF programming, mentorship, and workshops.
  • Hosted 14 free Open Access experiences for aspiring and emerging creatives in Paris, London, New York, Chicago, and Miami.
  • Launched three new youth programs to increase exposure, access, and opportunity, including Vault 360, VECTOR, and Unlocked.

2025 Highlights

Leadership & Organizational Growth

In 2025, the Foundation strengthened its leadership and organizational structure to better support its programs and long-term mission.Key appointments included Athiththan Selvendran, named Chief Creative Officer, Marcie Haley, named Chief of Staff, and leadership appointments for the Virgil Abloh Archives, including Chloe and Mahfuz Sultan as co-directors, alongside Shannon Abloh.These appointments provide guidance and continuity, ensuring Virgil Abloh’s legacy is stewarded thoughtfully while supporting the Foundation’s work to build lasting impact in the creative community.

Cultural Impact & Exhibitions

The landmark exhibition Virgil Abloh: The Codes at the Grand Palais in Paris demonstrated the Foundation’s commitment to the intersection of culture, education, and creativity, inspiring audiences worldwide.Collaborations such as the partnership with PSG for Communities reinforced the Foundation’s focus on supporting youth, fostering inclusion, and nurturing creative potential.
