Virgil Abloh Postmodern Scholarship
The Virgil Abloh™ “Post-Modern” Scholarship Fund was established in 2020 at the Fashion Scholarship Fund (FSF) by Virgil Abloh and his family to expand opportunities for Black and African American students pursuing careers in fashion.Named “Post-Modern,” the fund reflects Virgil’s vision that scholars receive not only financial support, but also mentorship, career guidance, and professional development through the FSF network.Through this partnership, Virgil created a lasting vehicle for his legacy − supporting the next generation of creatives entering the fashion industry. In 2024, FSF and the Virgil Abloh Foundation announced a goal to double the number of scholars from 30 to 60. In April 2025, FSF announced 60 new Virgil Abloh Post-Modern Scholars, with plans to continue expanding the program.
