UNLOCKED is an initiative launched by ABLOH AIR in September 2025 to help emerging creatives overcome practical barriers that can limit access to cultural, academic, and global opportunities.Recognizing that talented young creatives may face challenges such as obtaining passports, transit access, or essential identification, the program provides hands-on guidance and resources to ensure students can fully participate in creative and educational experiences.Developed in partnership with nonprofit organizations and cultural institutions across Chicago, UNLOCKED aims to create a stronger support system around young creatives pursuing pathways through ABLOH AIRand beyond.

Through UNLOCKED, students received direct support to access key resources needed to engage in creative opportunities.Support included:01. Comprehensive passport application support, including guidance, photography, and fee coverage02. Professional headshot sessions03. Chicago Public Library card registration04. Transit and metro card access with initial stipends for transportation needs05. On-site mentorship and application supportBeyond these resources, UNLOCKED aims to ensure that students connected to ABLOH AIR remain part of a broader creative ecosystem − building community, accessing institutions, and continuing to develop their creative trajectories.
